I was not feeling well for about five days and I was very worried of my health and fitness before this ride.During the last Ramadan and Eid celebration of about six weeks,I did not ride my bicycle other than going to the masjid that took three minutes only from my house.It was a period of resting that made my body felt tired and weak.
Yesterday,I almost wanted to give up riding with my group due to my unfit feelings.My wife encouraged me to go and give it a try.Thank God I took her advice and I did manage to lead about two dozen riders for about 20km ride around the lake and wetlands in Putrajaya.The ride did a good job to my body and mind.I felt fit and energetic again when I rode with my friends.
I attributed this cycling benefits to the relaxed ride with good friends that made us happy and enjoy the ride.After the ride,I also received a lot of good feedbacks from the regulars and new riders that they enjoyed an easy and fun ride.
I also got suggestions from my friends that if you feel sick,just go for a short and quick ride.You shall feel better.These are some benefits of cycling on weekends.So,let us keep cycling.
